2014年の同名のシンポジウムの成果をまとめたものです。青山も第8章Social Integration in Majapahit as Seen in an Old Javanese Court Narrative (pp.165-177) を担当しています。14世紀の古ジャワ語年代記『デーシャワルナナ』を史料として、マジャパヒト王国の垂直的統合と水平的統合について論じたものです。
