Japan Day Held on 15th March 2015 (Sun)

It has been 4 years since the great East Japan earthquake. This is an event to tell the students of Cairo University about the earthquake.

28th February 2015 (Sat) Pyramids and Egyptian Museum Tour

A short visit for students studying abroad in Cairo from TUFS and also first and second years from Osaka University participated.

23rd February 2015 (Mon) Language Exchange

We conducted a gathering where students studying abroad at Cairo University from TUFS and Osaka University were able to talk with students of Cairo University. Times for talking in Arabic and Japanese are separated in order for all students to be able to practice their language skills. We are planning to conduct the language exchanges every Monday from 4pm.

*The E.J.C.C is a literature club that belongs to the Japanese Literature Department within the Literature Department of Cairo University. With the Dean of the department, Prof. Callum Khalil as advisor, member of the department teaching staff Lecturer Safar Nuhl founded the club which is anticipated to become a bridge between Japanese people who have an interest in Egyptian culture and Egyptian people who have an interest in Japanese culture.

Objective
1- To equip university students with cultural knowledge.
2- To introduce Egyptian culture to Japanese students currently staying in Egypt.
3- To introduce Japanese culture to Egyptian society.
