The International University of Humanities and Development is a new university that was opened by presidential decree in May 2014 that aims to nurture global human resources by offering a completely English-taught syllabus.
To accompany the newly established Central Asian Studies major, with the expectation of expanding relations between our two countries, and at the strong request of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan, a partnership was formed in October 2015 with the International University of Humanities and Development.
Accompanying the addition of Japanese as the second foreign language available under the International University of Humanities and Development’s International Relations major, TUFS opened a new Global Japan Office, and at the same time dispatched Japanese language teachers to the university.
This office aims to help with the promotion of Japanese education and culture throughout Turkmen universities, and to provide training support for Turkmen Japanese teachers.
We also plan to open extra-curricular Japanese classes, and introduce Japanese culture through a Japanese culture club.
