平素はお世話になっております。

イスラエルの高等教育協議会（IASH）とイスラエル科学・人文アカデミー（ISF）は、科学、社会科学、人文科学の分野における国際的な博士研究員が、イスラエルの大学で研究を行うための新しいエクセレンスフェローシッププログラムの公募を開始すると発表しました。

当大使館では、日本の大学の幅広いネットワークにお伝えし、日本の優れた博士研究員にとって本フェローシップが有益となることを願っています。近年イスラエルは革新的な最先端研究とスタートアップの国として広く知られています。本フェローシップは日本の研究者の皆様に、イスラエル国内９大学（※）において一流の科学者や学者と協力し、グローバルな可能性と視野を広げる手段を提供できるものであると確信しています。

添付資料は、フェローシップの支援内容、申請資格、ガイドライン、選考プロセスなどの詳細と申請フォームです。申請は、フェローシップの求めるマッチング支援額の提供を約束した候補者の受入大学を通じて行われますのでご注意ください。

受入大学による申請期限は２０２１年２月１日です。

関連する教授陣・研究者等へ情報共有をお願いできれば幸いです。

Greetings to you from the Embassy of Israel in Tokyo.

The Council for Higher Education in Israel and the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities have recently announced a call for applications for their new excellence fellowship program for international postdoctoral researchers in science, social science and humanities to conduct research in one of Israel’s universities.

We would like to extend this fellowship opportunity to a wide network of universities in Japan in order to reach excellent Japanese postdoctoral researchers to benefit from it.
Israel has become known for its innovative cutting-edge research as well as a startup nation in recent years. We believe that this fellowship can offer Japanese researchers a means to expand their global potentials and horizons working with leading scientists and scholars in one of nine universities (*) in Israel.

The attached PDFs are the announcement letter that detail about the funding, eligibility, guidelines, selection process, etc. as well as the application form. It is important to note that the application must be through the candidate’s host university, which has committed to provide the required matching for the fellowship.

The application deadline by host universities is 1st February 2021.

We kindly ask you to pass this information to relevant faculties, researchers, and so on.
