新たに受け入れた4名の学生が、10月1日からプログラムを開始します。その中の一人、イレネさんです。大学の世界展開力強化事業（アフリカ）、JASSO、矢崎総業さまより往復渡航費や滞在費用を支援していただき、今回の日本への留学を実現することができました。

2025年春学期が終わるまでの10か月間、充実した留学生活が安心して送れるよう、大学の世界展開力強化事業（アフリカ）と共に支えていきます。

Konnichiwa

My name is Irene Iradukunda, and I am from Rwanda, a country known as the land of thousands of hills. I am currently pursuing a degree in peacebuilding and development studies at PUR. I am a filmmaker, and I am excited about this incredible opportunity to participate in an exchange program at the TUFS. This experience is like a dream come true, and I am eager to engage myself to learn Japanese culture and the advanced academic environment that Japan offers.
My objectives are to understand theoretical and practical frameworks for peacebuilding and development in the Japanese context. Specifically, I will focus on which strategies Japan used to promote social harmony at the social level. I will also focus on development strategies Japan has used to reconstruct its institutions after World War II.
Lastly, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported me on this journey. especially the Japan Student Service Organization (JASSO) ,YAZAKI Corporation and the Inter-University Exchange Project (IAfP) for providing all support for this program.
