ABOUT TASC
The TUFS Area Studies Center (commonly known as "TASC") was established to develop and disseminate the results of academic research on world languages, cultures, and societies that TUFS has been promoting to address issues in global regions directly related to Japan, and to contribute to peace building and international cooperation in the world at large. As a think tank for regional studies, one of its roles will be to disseminate the results of the University's research and education to society.
