ダニエル・チテタ・ムクマさんより来日のごあいさつが届きました。ダニエルさんは2025年度春の1学期の約4か月間、本学で学びます。

2024年末に行ったクラウドファンディングのご支援により、ダニエルさんの交換留学が叶いました。2025年春学期が終わるまでの4か月間、充実した留学生活が安心して送れるよう、センターでも支えていきます。

Greetings everyone. My name is Chiteta Daniel Mukuma, and I am a third-year student from the University of Zambia.
I am grateful to be here at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, and I am deeply thankful to everyone who has made this incredible opportunity possible.

I am excited to immerse myself in the culture and learn about Japanese society. My primary goal during my exchange is to deepen my understanding of the Japanese language.
I am eager to learn from Japanese people about the nuances of Japanese　customs, traditions, and perspectives.

Ultimately, I aspire to become a cultural ambassador of Japan in my home country, Zambia.
I believe that fostering cross-cultural understanding is vital, and I am committed to sharing, and using my experiences and the knowledge I gain here towards research in my final year of university and beyond.

I look forward to connecting with fellow students and faculty at TUFS and making the most of this invaluable experience.
