Exhibition Overview
This exhibition showcases the oucome of the participants from the workshop "Curating Visual Anthropology: Multimodal Approaches in Applied Visual Anthropology," held at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in this March. Led by Dr. Pedram Khosronejad, the editor-in-chief of the journal Visual Anthropology - Taylor & Francis, this workshop brought together graduate students, researchers, artists, and curators from diverse backgrounds who share an interest in presenting research findings through visual media, photography, sound, and objects.
Through this exhibition and accompanying talk, we explore the significance of curation in visual anthropology, as well as the methodologies and possibilities of exhibiting research outcomes.
