2019 Entrance Ceremony

Congratulations on your entrance to our University. The entrance ceremony will be held as follows. Due to the capacity of the venue, two ceremonies will be held, so we ask that new undergraduate and postgraduate students take note of the starting times.

Date/Time Saturday, 6 April, 2019
  • Ceremony One　11:00-11:30 (Doors open at 10:30)
    • School of Language and Culture Studies（including third year transfer students）
    • School of Japan Studies
    (After the ceremony closes, there will be a 40 minute guidance session for undergraduates.)
  • Ceremony Two　14:00-14:30 (Doors open at 13:30)
    • School of International and Area Studies（including third year transfer students）
    • Graduate School of Global Studies
    (After the ceremony closes, there will be a 40 minute guidance session for undergraduates.)

※Please Note
：We kindly ask that attendees promptly exit the venue after Ceremony One so preparation can begin for Ceremony Two. The opening ceremony for International Pre-Undergraduate Students will be held separately. Also, please note that photographs may be taken for PR purposes.
To Parents and Guardians
：Unfortunately, due to the limited capacity, accompanying guests will not be allowed into the hall. For those wishing to watch the ceremony, both ceremonies will be live-streamed in Room 101 of the Research and Lecture Building.
：After each ceremony, an information session on study abroad programs will be held for parents and guardians (expected to last 30 minutes).
