Assisting Students in Finding Employment

Many graduates of TUFS play an active role in a wide range of sectors in society, whether in Japan or abroad, and are highly rated as human resources that contribute to society.

Self-analysis from an early stage (ascertaining one’s abilities and aptitudes) and studying companies and organizations as possible places to work are important when thinking about what to do after graduation. At TUFS, the Global Career Center (GCC) assists students to choose their career paths.

Global Career Center (GCC)

The Global Career Center (GCC) was established on April 1, 2011 on the second floor of the Research and Lecture Building to assist student in finding employment. Dedicated staff members help students with their search for employment by responding to students’ requests for job placement guidance and providing advice concerning employment plans the students prepare on their own.

Employment Information Booth and Career Counseling in GCC

The GCC has an employment information booth for students’ use. Except on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays, students can freely use the booth from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Use of the booth is limited to activities related to job hunting.

Students can also take career counsels with qualified counselors. In order to take the counsels, students need to make appointments at the front.
