The University Anthem：As one of the events to mark the 60th anniversary of the University’s foundation in 1957(Showa 32), the organizing committee proposed a competition to compose a new anthem. The lyrics were auditioned and the winning composition was by Norimitsu Shibahara, a TUFS Russian graduate of 1962. His lyrics were edited by the renowned poet and professor of the University, Ichiro Ando, who had majored in English and graduated in 1928. The music was composed by,Yasuji Kiyose.
