Lat's Town Boy translated by Associate Professor Soda Wins Comic Award

The Japanese translated version of Town Boy by Lat won Kosei Ono Special Prize in the 2015 Gaiman Award. This award is given to comic books published abroad and translated to Japanese.The awarded books are elected by reader’s vote.

Another Lat’s work, Kampung Boy, also won second place in the same award last year. This was the second time for the author to win a prize in a low, showing his popularity in Japan.
