Seminar on Challenges for sustainable development in West Africa

On August 27, 2019, Joint Doctoral Program for Sustainability Research jointly offered by Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), and the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) and Kyoto Seika University will conduct a seminar "Challenges for Sustainable Development in West Africa: Securing People's Livelihood". This it the official side event of the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD7).

In the seminar, two main speakers, Dr. Oussouby Sacko, President of Kyoto Seika University, and Dzodzi Tsikata, Director of Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, will talk about sustainable development in Mali and Ghana.
