Important Rules for living in Dormitory

SMOKING/ DRINKING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Smoking is STRICTLY PROHIBITED in any areas of the dormitory including rooms and balconies. Please smoke in the designated area that is in front of Dormitory 2.
Drinking alcoholic beverages is PROHIBITED in the common area.
Smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages are not allowed for people under 20 years old. 

DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED WHILE USING INDUCTION HEATING DEVICE

When using the Induction Heating device in your room, please do not leave it unattended. If smoke appears in your room, the smoke detector will ring.
Please be reminded that you are expected to participate in the emergency drills to be held in spring/autumn in the dormitories.

Microwave

We have a microwave in Dorm 1 and 3. Please do not leave it unattended when using it, because it could catch a fire when the food inside is overheated. 

Shower

For Dorm1, please move the small black lever up when you want to use hot water. It takes about 20 or 30 minutes for the heater to prepare enough amount of hot water. We recommend you to turn it on only when you use, and which will save money on electricity.
For Dorm2, please use the shared shower rooms. The shower rooms on the first and second floors are for male students, and those on the third, forth, fifth and sixth floors are for female students.
For Dorm3, residents can use the shower in your room.
