An orientation for first-year students in the African Studies, organized by Professor Makiko Sakai and Assoc.Prof. Takanori Ooishi, was held at Tama Zoological Park.

Despite the unfortunate weather with light rain on the day, 18 participants--including five international students from Africa--took part and enjoyed an opportunity to build friendships.

Exchanged student- Victor joined, as well as Jato, who was formely an exchenge student and is now a TUFS PCS student.
