Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Japan pays courtesy visit to TUFS

On Wednesday, November 22, 2023, His Excellency Mr. Martin KLUČAR / Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic, Deputy Ambassador, and Cultural Attaché paid a courtesy call to President Kayoko Hayashi. Vice President Taku Shinohara, Associate Professor Bruna Gebhardtová, and Lecturer Tateko Daniela, who are in charge of the Czech Language Department, also attended the meeting.

Ambassador Klučar just took office in October of this year and is very interested in Japanese culture and customs. He was very interested in the fact that Czech is one of the 28 major languages at our university, and there was a lively exchange of opinions. After the discussion, the group watched the Czech language play "R.U.R." at the TUFS Gaigosai school festival.
