TUFS Global Community Meeting in New York

A TUFS Global Community Meeting* was held on Thursday, February 9, 2023, in New York City, USA. This meeting was part of the winter semester United Nations Study Program (commonly known as the UN Study Tour) in which 17 TUFS students visited New York City from February 6 to 9, 2023 to tour the United Nations Headquarters and related organizations. In addition to the Study Tour participants, the meeting was attended by alumni of the New York branch of the Tokyo Gaikokai, a TUFS alumni organization active in businesses and educational institutions in and around New York City, and current TUFS students studying abroad at universities in New York State. Vice President Jun MATSUKUMA, who was visiting Columbia University for a meeting with the Coordinator of the Consortium for Asian and African Studies (CAAS), also attended the meeting.

*TUFS Global Community Meetings are held on occasions when faculty members travel domestically and internationally to form networks between graduates and TUFS faculty and staff, and to support current students studying abroad.
