Mongolian Delegation Visits TUFS

On Thursday, December 8, 2022, 40 Mongolian high school and university students and young professionals in the fields of science and technology and Japanese culture visited TUFS. The members of the delegation are participants in the 2022 Ministry of Foreign Affairs exchange program "JENESYS Programme" (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths). The delegation was welcomed to TUFS by 30 students majoring in Mongolian, Associate Professor Masahiro Aoki, and Specially Appointed Associate Professor Enkhbayar Jigmeddorj and Lecturer Yohei Yamada, both lecturers for TUFS’ Mongolian language program. Representatives of the Mongolian delegation to Japan and the TUFS students each gave a speech in Mongolian, after which there was a period of social exchange followed by a campus tour. The members of the Mongolian delegation and the TUFS students appeared to thoroughly enjoy their conversations in both Japanese and Mongolian.
