Exchange Meeting between Ambassador of Jordan to Japan and TUFS Students, Together with Agreement Signing Ceremony

On Friday, December 3, 2021, Ms. Lina ANNAB, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Jordan to Japan, visited TUFS and participated as a special lecturer in “Arabic Reading 1,” where she spent productive time with the students.

This is the second exchange between Ambassador Annab and students, following a special online lecture in May 2021. It was the first time they were able to meet face to face, which they had been looking forward to.

After the exchange, Ambassador Annab paid a courtesy call on President HAYASHI Kayoko and attended the signing ceremony for an international academic exchange agreement between the University of Jordan and TUFS.

This is the first such agreement concluded with a Jordanian university, thanks to the dedicated cooperation of the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Japan, including Ambassador Annab. It is expected that Japan and Jordan will further strengthen their relations in the future.
