Vice President of INALCO Visits TUFS

On Thursday 30th of January, Prof. Gilles FORLOT, Vice President for International Affairs at the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientale (INALCO), visited TUFS and met with Vice President MATSUKUMA Jun. This meeting was also attended by Associate Professor AKIHIRO Hisae (Institute of Global Studies).

Since signing an academic exchange agreement in 2001, and a student exchange agreement in 2002, TUFS has conducted student exchanges with INALCO every year. Professor Forlot is also a coordinator of the Consortium for Asia and African Studies (CAAS). INALCO and TUFS are expected to further promote academic exchange through INALCO’s role as an associate partner institution in 'History in the Public Sphere (HIPS)', a double degree master’s programs jointly operated by TUFS and 4 European universities starting in April 2020.
