Professor from the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway Visit TUFS

On Friday the 22nd of February, Professor Gunhild Hoogensen Gjørv (Critical Peace and Conflict Studies specialist) from the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway, visited TUFS and met with Vice President Minoru Iwasaki, Associate Professor Nobuo Haruna (Institute of Japan Studies) and Assistant Professor Gunnar Rekvig (World Language and Society Education Centre).

The University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway signed a faculty exchange agreement with TUFS’ Institute of Global Studies in 2010, and after becoming a full partner institution in January 2018, signed a student exchange memorandum to establish student exchange opportunities. At the meeting it was agreed that our two universities would continue exchanging opinions while further exploring the possibility of developing this cooperative relationship further to faculty exchanges.
