Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (Nigeria) Visits TUFS

On Wednesday the 30th of January, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na’allah, Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (Nigeria), and Mr. Alhaji Oba Aluko, a member of Kwara State University’s Governing Council, visited TUFS and met with President Hirotaka Tateishi. This meeting was also attended by the Counsellor for Politics Education and Culture, Ms. Chinwe Sophy Nkem-Nwaigwe, from the Nigerian Embassy in Japan, and Vice President (for general and educational affairs) Kayoko Hayashi, Professor Shinichi Takeuchi (Director of the African Studies Center), and Associate Professor Makiko Sakai (Institute of Global Studies) from TUFS.
Vice Chancellor Na’allah came to Japan with the goal of breaking new ground with Japanese universities open to the possibility of developing cooperative relations with Kwara State University. At the meeting it was agreed that the two universities would continue to investigate the possibility of inter-university exchange.
