Exchange Students from Oman Visit TUFS

On Thursday the 22nd of November, seven exchange students from Oman visited TUFS and met with President Hirotaka Tateishi. Vice President Minoru Iwasaki and Professor Hiroyuki Aoyama also attended this meeting.

These exchange students are currently attending Kyoto University, Osaka University and Nagoya University, and gathered in Tokyo on the 21st and 22nd of November for part of their activities as members of the Japan-Oman Club.
This meeting with President Tateishi came to fruition thanks to the suggestion of the Japan-Oman Club’s honorary president, Haruo Endo.

At the meeting, President Tateishi told the students about the 96th Gaigosai (held from Wednesday 21st – Sunday 25th November), which was followed by a discussion on the various initiatives implemented at TUFS.

After the meeting, the students visited Gaigosai, and interacted with Japanese students majoring in Arabic at the Syria Research Society and Palestine-related booths.
