TUFS Global Community Meeting Held in Sydney and Melbourne

A TUFS Global Community Meeting was held in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia, on Saturday, September 15 and Sunday, September 16, 2018, respectively.

This meeting was held while TUFS President TATEISHI Hirotaka and other faculty members were in Australia in conjunction with the establishment of the Global Japan Office (GJO) at the University of Melbourne.

The meeting in Sydney was attended by a total of 16 people, including President Tateishi and another faculty member from TUFS, 11 alumni from the Sydney branch of Tokyo Gaigokai and three international students from TUFS. The meeting in Melbourne was attended by a total of 11 people: two visitors from TUFS, including President Tateishi, six alumni living in Melbourne, and three international students from TUFS.

On the occasion of his visit, President Tateishi also visited UNSW Global at the University of New South Wales and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Sydney to discuss study abroad and internship opportunities in Australia.

We look forward to the further expansion of the University's network in Australia together with the activities of the Global Japan Office.
