Vietnamese High School Students Visit TUFS

On Thursday the 28th of June, 40 Vietnamese high school students and 12 Japanese language education specialists, who were invited to Japan by The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam and The Kamenori Foundation, visited TUFS. This visit is a project that offers a group of Vietnamese high school students studying Japanese and the Japanese language specialists that teach them a chance to observe Japan, and have discussions with Japanese people. This project was established with the aim of strengthening the foundation of Japanese language education in Vietnamese secondary school education, while also promoting an understanding of Japan.

During their visit, the visitors were welcomed with a reception from the TUFS Office for International Affairs, and then participated in a Vietnamese language class held by specially-appointed lecturer Bui Duy Duong, at which they interacted with TUFS students majoring in Vietnamese. After this, the group went on a campus tour and inspected the library and the TUFS International Residences.
