TUFS Signs International Academic Exchange Agreement with Xi'an International Studies University

On Thursday, May 25, 2018, six faculty members from Xi'an International Studies University (XISU), including President WANG Junzhe, visited TUFS for the signing ceremony of an international academic exchange agreement.

After the ceremony, Executive Director HAYASHI Kayoko, Executive Director IWASAKI Minoru, Vice President ITO Sukero, and Professor HAGIO Sho (President’s Task Force, International Affairs) also attended a meeting to discuss future exchange opportunities. It has already been decided that four students from TUFS will participate in a short-visit program at XISU this summer.

The initiation of the agreement between XISU and TUFS came about when Vice President Ito Sukero was head judge at the 18th Shaanxi Presentation Competition for University Students at XISU on November 4, 2017 (co-organized by the Shaanxi Education and International Exchange Association, the International Association for Environment and Education, and XISU). Three students who received prizes in this competition also visited TUFS alongside the President and faculty of XISU, and met with TUFS students.
