Comments from the Prize-Winning Student

Ms. FAIZIEVA Zarina

This was my first time participating in the Tatar Language Olympics. Contestants outside of Russia were able to participate online. I was amazed by people of all over the world presenting in Tatar language. I was quite sad for not being able of going to Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan’s capital where the olympics were held), but I am glad I was able to hear live Tatar language. I am very happy I was able to get a prize as I have only been learning Tatar (at TUFS) for around six months so I am not yet very good at it.
