TUFS Student Wins Prize at English Speech Competition

On Saturday the 17th of November, TUFS student Kaori Yamamoto (School of International and Area Studies, Southwest European Area Studies, International Relations Course, fourth year) won the Tsurugashima City Mayoral Award in the university division of the 8th Josai University English Speech Competition.

While I did not come in first place, I received feedback from both the judges and the audience, so I think this was a valuable experience for me. On top of that, listening to the amazing speeches of other university students and high school students motivated me to study English even harder. I am very grateful to the teachers in the English Lounge at TUFS who helped me edit my speech. Thank you very much.
