ILCAA Associate Professor Kumakura Wakako and Professor Naganawa Norihiro Awarded JSPS Prize

On December 16, 2021, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) announced the recipients of the 18th JSPS Prize. ILCAA Associate Professor KUMAKURA Wakako and Professor NAGANAWA Norihiro were both on the list of recipients. Professor Naganawa started working at ILCAA in October this year through a cross-appointment system between Hokkaido University’s Slavic-Eurasian Research Center and TUFS.

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science was established to recognize and encourage young researchers so that Japan’s research can rank among the best in the world.
