Professor KONDO Nobuaki receives Iran’s Farabi International Award

We are delighted to announce that Professor KONDO Nobuaki (Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia and Africa, Iranian Modern History) has received the 11th Farabi International Award, a humanities prize sponsored by the Iranian government. This award is given to research in the humanities within Iran, as well as Iranian and Islamic studies by foreign researchers. Prof. Kondo was awarded the prize in recognition of all of his previous works on Iranian studies.

The award ceremony was held on Monday, August 17, 2020, at 14:30 (Japan time), with attendants participating both online and offline.
