Seminar on English Presentation Skills for International Academic Conferences held at TUFS

On Friday the 2 ^nd of February, TUFS invited former GLIP lecturer Douglas Osei-Hyiaman and held the 'English Presentation Skills for International Academic Conferences' seminar. This seminar was held with the goal of teaching the skills essential for English presentations. Despite the long hours, the seminar was brimming with enthusiasm.

In the first part of the seminar, 'Effective Materials and Methods for English Presentations,' a model presenter gave a presentation to help participants further understand what an English presentation involves, after which discussion focused on the tricks of English presentations such as gestures, eye contact and ways of speaking.

In the second part of the seminar, 'Public Guidance on Practical Tasks,' participants listened to 3 presentations on both the humanities and sciences, after which they split into three groups to do checklist evaluations on the presentations. Afterwards, participants received feedback from the lecturer, and mutually shared their opinions on each of the presentations, making the seminar a valuable experience for those involved.
