Ambassador of Uruguay Visits TUFS

On Friday the 23rd of March, His Excellency Mr. Cesar Ferrer, ambassador of the Embassy of Uruguay in Japan, visited TUFS upon taking up his position as ambassador to pay a courtesy call to TUFS President Hirotaka Tateishi.

Thanks to the support of the Embassy of Uruguay in Japan, TUFS was able to form an Academic Exchange Agreement with the University of the Republic, Uruguay in March 2016, and was also able to invite former President of Uruguay, Mr. José Alberto Mujica Cordano, to hold a lecture in the following month.

Ambassador Ferrer and TUFS President Mr. Tateishi discussed further development of cultural exchanges between Uruguay and TUFS.
