School of Language and Culture Studies Lecture Series (held on May 11th)

On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, Prof. Hiroshi Nakagawa gave a special lecture for the School of Language and Culture Studies Lecture Series.The title of his lecture was “Khoisan color terms: with special reference to the World Color Survey”. The designated discussant Prof.Hisao Matsuura,majoring in Western modern art, initiated a lively discussion, crossing disciplinary boundaries among linguistics,literature and the arts. With a number of visitors from outside the university, this lecture was a huge success.

This lecture was hosted by the School of Language and Culture Studies and was co-sponsored by the Institute for Language Research and the Institute for Transcultural Studies at TUFS.
