President of Chapingo Autonomous University (Mexico) and Associates Visit TUFS on February 17th

On the 17th of February (Wed), the President of Chapingo Autonomous University (Mexico) Dr. José Sergio Barrales Domínguez, Rector, visited President Tateishi here at TUFS and conducted an informal meeting.
At the meeting, Lecturer at Chapingo Autonomous University, Prof. Takuo Hozumi, Third Secretary, Embassy of Mexico in Japan, Ms. Emy Kameta and Vice-President of TUFS, Dr. Miyazaki discussed the future exchange plans between both universities.
TUFS and Chapingo Autonomous University have a cooperation agreement as part of the Re-Inventing Japan Project.
This meeting was carried out prior to the kickoff symposium entitled “FY2015 Re-Inventing Japan Project (Latin America): A Co-Creative Education Program of Humanities and Sciences between Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS), Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT), and the University of Electro-Communications (UEC)” which was held on the 19th of February.
