The Madagascan Chargé d’affaires a.i. gave a lecture for the Series of Lectures of SADC

The eighth lecturer on December 9 was Mrs. Rosette RASOAMANARIVO, Chargé d’affaires ad interim from the Embassy of the Republic of Madagascar in Japan. Mrs Rasoamanarivo not only outlined and discussed the country of Madagascar during the lecture, but those who attended were also able to enjoy the fragrance of vanilla beans, an ingredient which 50% of its worldwide quantity is yielded in Madagascar, as well as enjoy eating chocolate which uses those vanilla beans.

This series of lectures is held as a required subject for first-year undergraduates majoring in Africa.To promote exchange between Japan and Southern African Countries, the lectures are also open to TUFS students and faculty members without registration.
