December 10, 2015

Officials from Various embassies visited Gogeki (lit. plays performed in various languages) conducted during the 93rd Gaigosai university festival.Gogeki, where students perform plays in languages which they study, is one of the unique features of the university festival, with more than a century-long history, reaching all the way back to 1900. In order to witness this unique feature of performances, every year many officials from embassies of countries whose native languages are used in the performances visit the university festival.

Coinciding with their visits, most of the guests make courtesy calls on the TUFS president. Their visits provide precious opportunities for strengthening ties between the university and these countries. This year, officials on the following list met with TUFS president Tateishi and others, and talked about the future prospects of the relations between the countries and TUFS.
