Exhibition for "Asian Character Typewriter" Held at the Asia and Africa Institute of Language and Culture from 26/10~27/11

From October 26th (Monday) to November 27th(Friday), a special exhibition "Asian Character Typewriters" was held in the exhibition room on the first floor of the Asia and Africa Institute of Language and Culture (labAA). (Sponsored and planned by labAA GICAS)

The valuable typewriters used for Devanagari characters, Bengal characters, Burmese characters and so on that are in the possession of AAlab, were on display alongside explanation panels.

During the TUFS university festival, Arakawa Shintarou, an associate professor of AAlab, offered “Exhibition Commentary Tour”, which received a lot of enthusiastic participation. Reputed as a “unique event befitting of TUFS” and was visited more than 800 people.
