December 5, 2014

On Sunday, November 30th, 35 members of the musical and dancing ensemble KUD "Branko Cvetković" Beograd visited TUFS to deliver a performance of traditional Serbian folk dances. The TUFS Philippine Cultural Dance Troop joined the performance. Captivated by their spectacular music and exotic dance, audiences gave an ovation to the performers. The folk ensemble and orchestra rarely visit Japan.
Ahead of the performance, Nenad Glissic, the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Japan; former Japanese ambassador to Serbia, Toshio Tsunozaki and his wife; Mr. Jonan Sijacki, the leader of Branko Cvetokovic Serbian Ethnic Dance Troupe; and Mr. Novak Stanisic, the executive of Serbian Progressive Party, paid a courtesy visit to Tateishi, TUFS president, and Iwasaki, Dean of International Area Studies.
They exchanged ideas and talked about the prospects for the relationship between TUFS and Serbia.
