TUFS Concludes an Academic Exchange Agreement with the University of Bologna
December 13, 2013
On Wednesday, July 17, TUFS concluded an academic exchange agreement with the University of Bologna (Italy). The university is known as the oldest university in Europe, which dates back to 1088* and it received the certification of university (medieval university) from the Vatican in the 13th century. Also, it is the 2nd largest university in Italy and now has four other campuses in the country and one in Buenos Aires.
This is the 12th academic exchange agreement that TUFS concluded this year. (* In 1888, the year of the foundation of the university was estimated to be 1088 through the investigation by the history committee composed of Giosuè Carducci, the winner and poet of the Nobel Prize for literature, and others.)
