Pakistani Ambassador visits TUFS

On Thursday, November 7, H.E. Mr. Farukh Amil, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Japan, visited International Strategies Executive Director Miyazaki. They had a friendly discussion along with Associate Professor Hiroshi Hagita, Associate Professor Kensaku Mamiya, and Specially-Appointed Professor Suhail Abbas (from the Urdu department).

Ambassador Amil is highly interested in the role of TUFS students as a bridge between the two countries. With the conclusion of an academic exchange agreement in mind, there was discussion about exchange activities in a wide range of areas that go beyond student exchange.

Afterwards, in an Urdu major class, the Ambassador gave a lecture on Pakistan and interacted with students.
