Summary of Operations
At the Center, we focus on the following three activities: (1) educational activities aimed at developing human resources capable of undertaking the problems posed by multilingual and multicultural societies; (2) research activities on various problems associated with multilingual and multicultural societies; and (3) social partnership activities which address a wide range of social issues while cooperating with municipalities, NPOs, various groups, schools and corporations. The Center will continue to actively engage itself in the realization of multilingual and multicultural societies that are free from discrimination, bias and exclusion of people with differing languages, customs and cultures, societies in which those currently undergoing difficulties in their daily lives due to a language barrier or lifestyle and cultural differences can live with a sense of security.
