The Summer Seminar 2014 ran from July 29th to August 1st. A Summer School was held at the same time, to give graduate students from home and abroad the opportunity to present their research. Around 480 people participated during the seminar. )
Launched in 2012 and now in the third year, the Summer Seminars showcased detailed and stimulating lectures on current research in the fields of language, literature and society, as well as education and history.
The Summer School for graduate students, established last year, attracted 47 participants. Alongside TUFS students were 16 attendees from universities across Asia, and another 5 from Tsukuba University, Tokyo Gakugei University and International Christian University.
Both events were accompanied by lively question and answer sessions. (Tsutomu TOMOTSUNE )
