イベント趣旨

The main goal of this photo exhibition is to depict the cultural and historical realities of Afghanistan and showing of its regional and global importance. Unfortunately, over the last four decades, the international medias have not displayed the really picture of Afghanistan, except conflict, bloody wars, destructions, poverty, backwardness, and misery. However, in the past, as a crossroads of civilizations, Afghanistan has played a major role in the development and promotion of major civilizations in the history of the world such as Zoroastrian, Buddhist, and Islamic civilization. Afghanistan, the Heart of Asia as it has been said “with the glory and stability of Afghanistan, the glory and stability of Asia arises”, has had its golden age as an important and effective member of the world community.
We as TUFS's Afghan alumni who have lived in Japan, are greatly influenced by Japan's successful historical experiences. In fact, looking at the successful experiences of the people of Japanese is very inspiring, how today's Japan successfully emerged from the destruction and flame caused by the World War 2 and they were able to combine their classical culture with the modern culture and become an advanced country with a developed economy in the world.
We strongly believe that by learning from Japan's historical experience, we will be able to return Afghanistan to its golden age.
