ABOUT TASC

TASC MISSION

The TUFS Area Studies Center, known as TASC, was newly established in October 2023. The Center was established to develop and disseminate the results of academic research on world languages, cultures, and societies that TUFS has been promoting in response to issues in global regions directly connected to Japan, and to contribute broadly to world peacebuilding and international cooperation. As a think tank for area studies, one of its roles is to disseminate the results of research and education to society.
