New York Times Subscription

The "TUFS Training Program for Trans-Pacific Bridge Persons (TP-Bridge)" has been promoted by TUFS since AY2023. In an era of globalization and increasing uncertainty, skills in coordinating and developing collaboration among diverse people with different cultures and ways of thinking -based on solid language skills and conceptual capabilities -is a prerequisite for leadership, whatever the job or setting one works in. This is why it aims to develop "TP-bridge persons" who can "build bridges" across three perspectives: geographic, academic, and temporal.

As part of our program, we started subscribing to the New York Times last year to assist you in improving your English and information gathering skills. We believe that this service will provide you with more access to worldwide news and different perspectives. 

Digital access to the New York Times

  • Subscription period: Until March 31, 2028 (tentative; subject to change)
  • Eligible individuals: Those with a TUFS email address with the domain @tufs.ac.jp
  • Available content: Please refer to “what's included”

* Regular students and exchange students can only access the service while enrolled at TUFS, regardless of the subscription period mentioned above.
**There are only a limited number of subscriptions available. Access may be disabled if the limit is reached.
***There is no expense to you personally.
