Regular Students (TUFS undergraduate, TUFS postgraduate)

• Course fee exemption for students whose household’s income has been affected by COVID-19 (Japanese)
  If you have experienced a sudden change in your household’s income due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, please apply for course fee exemption through the link above.
• Course Fee Exemption (TUFS-funded support) (Japanese)
  The application period for TUFS’ course fee exemption system (“TUFS Financial Support System” for new students) has been extended.
• COVID-19 Coronavirus Emergency Interest-Free Loan
  Applications for TUFS’ interest-free loans for students in need of emergency financial support began on April 16.
• Emergency Student Support Benefit for “Continuing Education”
  The Japanese government has announced a Student Support Benefit to assist students in “continuing education”. Students wishing to apply for this benefit should click the link above for further details.

Non-Regular Students (ISEPTUFS students, research students)

• Course Fee Deadline Changes (Japanese)
  The deadline for course fee payment has been extended until late June.
• Special Cash Payments (from the Japanese government)
  All residents registered with the Basic Resident Registration System will be eligible to receive a benefit from the Japanese government.

Application Period: Until August 21 (Fri), applications postmarked with this date will also be accepted
