Ambassador of the Argentine Republic in Japan visits TUFS and meets Argentine Tango Circle members

On Friday, March 6th, 2026, His Excellency Mr. Rubén Eduardo Miguel TEMPONE, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Argentine Republic in Japan paid a courtesy visit to TUFS Executive Director and Vice President TAKEDA Chika. TUFS Professor KUNO Ryoichi and three representatives of the TUFS Argentine Tango Circle joined the discussion, exchanging opinions on promoting student exchange and cultural exchange between TUFS and universities in Argentina. Ambassador Tempone gave a brief lecture about tango in Argentina and Japan, including the reception and spread of tango in Japan, and expressed his hopes for collaboration and cultural exchange with the embassy in future. 

After the discussion, Ambassador Tempone watched the Argentine Tango Club practice session and enjoyed interacting with the students.
