TUFS Global Community Meeting Held in Istanbul

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, TUFS hosted a Global Community Meeting in Istanbul, Türkiye. This event was part of the TUFS Global Community initiative, aimed at fostering networks among TUFS faculty, alumni, former international students, and supporting current students studying abroad.

The gathering brought together 17 participants, including Special Advisor to the President Dr. Otsu—who was visiting Türkiye for the IEFT International Education Fair—current TUFS students studying in Türkiye, and alumni and former international students active in the Istanbul area.

Following a university update and toast by Dr. Otsu, participants enjoyed Japanese cuisine while engaging in lively conversation. In addition to exchanging local insights, current students had the opportunity to seek career advice from alumni, making the gathering a meaningful occasion for strengthening the TUFS community abroad.
