The First Lady of Lithuania and others visit TUFS

On Monday, June 9, 2025, First Lady of Lithuania Diana Nausėdienė, along with 11 others, paid a courtesy visit to President Haruna Nobuo.

Associate Professor Yukiko Tazumi and Lecturer Eiko Sakurai also participated in the discussion, exchanging opinions on Lithuanian language education at our university and the history of exchanges with Lithuania.

Following the discussion with the president, students who have studied or plan to study in Lithuania, as well as those enrolled in Lithuanian language courses, joined the discussion with the First Lady. The students asked questions about Lithuanian culture and shared their reasons for becoming interested in Lithuania, and the discussion concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
