Portuguese State Secretray Visits TUFS

On Wednesday, May 7, 2025, HE the State Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Mr. Nuno Sampaio paid a courtesy visit to President Nobuo HARUNA, accompanied by HE the Ambassador of Portugal to Japan, Mr. Gilberto Jeronimo, and HE the President of Camões Institute, Ms. Florbela Paraíba.
Vice President Chika TAKEDA, Specially Appointed Professor ROCHA DE SOUSA Lucio Manuel, and Lecturer Osamu MIZUNUMA also participated in the meeting, where they exchanged views on exchanges between Portugal and Japan and the Portuguese language education at TUFS.
After meeting with the president, the state secretray interacted with students majoring in Portuguese.
